Have lost many of the rubber end caps and this is a great solution! I mounted this to avoid getting scraped by the mounting flange and bolt exposed on the outside. Used this set on 2 bumpers by "permanently" taping the rubber end cap on one side and mounting one of these to the side of the RV where "business" is conducted with all the hoses. I like the clip with the coated wire cable.

I really like this aluminum RV bumper end cap! The sleek black aluminum design looks so much better than the cheap plastic ones. The main reason I bought this was because I was tired of constantly kicking the old plastic cap back in every time I checked the bumper. Those plastic caps tend to slowly come loose while driving, mine never fully fell off, but it did come halfway off more than once. This aluminum cap completely solved that problem. It was super easy to install, and the instructions were clear and simple. I also love the built-in holes at the end, which add airflow and just make it look cooler. On top of that, it’s now so much easier to simply unhook the clip and open the cap to access the tank sewer hose. Everything is just easier now, not just better looking. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do, no surprises. I highly recommend this to anyone still using a plastic end cap. You won’t regret upgrading to this one!

I wish I would have found this item a few years ago. The new sewer hose I lost wouldn't have happened if I were using this. I expect these doors will out last the RV. I wish the whole RV were made to this level of quality. Aluminum will last forever and the plastic ones that came in the bumper were brittle after a few years. As long as I put the clips back in place, the hose isn't going anywhere. I could even put small locks on it if I thought someone would steal my stinky linky. The clips have a cable to keep you from losing them. Everything about it is perfect down to the locking nuts that secure it to the bumper. The bolts look to be stainless so they shouldn't be a worry either. It fits perfectly, doesn't decrease the internal dimensions of the bumper and is an excellent value. I recommend it whole heartily.
